Everything seems to be getting so integrated these days with the PS2 having a DVD drive and digital soun output, people preferring to listen to music on their PC and watching DVDs on their PC. Whatever people - reviewers or manufacturers say about the quality it will never be as good as having seperate systems for each purpose. What we are heading for is mediocre all-round performance, you'll have a DVD/CD drive with laptop screen, built in speakers and internet socket and built in modem, you would then have to have a portable keyboard etc. What is everybody's problem with having seperate equipment for different jobs, I obviously have a computer and use it mainly for word processing, gaming and accessing the web but this doesn't stop me listening to music on my hi-fi, watching TV or a video and going to my room to play playstation on.
