First, threw an egg against a wall, to hatch it. Then i started seeing if he'd stop whinging about swimming if he had lots of practice. He didn't. Not sure what you have to do to make the little critters like it.
Next up, something i occasionally did by accident, but never really paid much attention to the effects: Picked him up and threw him about. You know, i get the impression they don't like that.
Now, what i really wanted to have a go at: Attacking the things. I always wondered what it'd do, but before now i'd planned on keeping the chao around for a while, so i didn't want to try it.
It really is fun though.
I don't think i'll ever tire of seeing tales kick the thing around.
The effects - it started to turn dark, just like when you bring it up with a 'bad' character. I wonder if using shadow to kick one about would turn it light...
Okay, so that was fun, as was throwing it into the water, then kicking it back out to see if it was grateful for getting back onto dry land, or resentful of being beaten up.
He still wasn't too happy to be kicked around.
A quick trip to the doc's showed him to be in good health. But when i picked him up, he wasn't happy, he was squirming around just like when he wants to get out of the water. Back in the garden, left alone he would either sit down and cry or stand there whimpering and shivering. I actually felt guilty : S
Off the back of my guilt trip, i thought i'd see if the damage could be undone. After feeding him, trying to carry him (though he usually objected) and petting him, things just started to turn. Eventually, i could constantly pet him, and get the thing on his head to respond with a heart each time. So for a few minutes i was just pressing b repeatedly, and he actually started to turn lighter. A few minutes later, he got to be properly white, in propper 'hero' state.
I tried to carry him again. He didn't like it, still, he wasn't squirming, just frowning. Mission accomplished.
And this is why i'll fail my last 2 exams : )
