Remember the first 2? The hack and slash version of MGS? Both were quite good if you didnt play them, very gory too if thats your sort of thing, and now we are getting another one on PS2 which is looking very good indeed.

Not out till this Winter though, so it might clash with Pro Evo 2, but at least there will be a few good games already anounced for this winter now.

I just hope the grappling hooks still in there, that was pretty cool. :D

I'll be interested to see just what activision have planned for this new game, with the power of the PS2, no doubt the enviroments and graphics will be far improved than the previous games. I'd like to see what they have in store for the gameplay though.

Hmm, it was showcased at E3, i think that if any game is going to be put on show there and is a sequel or whatever then they must be quite confident that its going to be better than the previous versions. Plus Activision are a good developer so you can expect some good from them usually.

They where good stealth games, although I only played the second one. Like IB said down the page, I hope this new sequel is going to have some major advancements, and isn't going to be tenchu 1/2 in nicer graphics. I suppose we'll find out over the following months.

I think Tenchu 3 has the potential to be a corker. One of my main concerns about MGS2 was it's somewhat naff premise. And it was very greyish most of the time. T3 could take similar gameplay and put it in a far cooler setting.

I love ninjas, me.

I wasn't too keen on the first 2....i think it was maybe to do with the PSOnes capabilities...the graphics always seemed unclear to me which i found a bit annoyin as it was hard to pik out the enemy....this one looks good though...i'll keep an eye out for it.

Upwire says:

"The game features some new stealth moves, and according to Activision, "unique ninja style gameplay," which is more than enough for us."

Hmm, what that means we wont quite know for some time, just have to see what the first demos play like.

The screenshots look good though...but then so did the Bouncers when that was hyped...

I thought Tenchu was a massively original title, and lost days to playing it, perfecting my stealth skills. Tenchu 2 I played for about five minutes, it offered nothing new in my opinion. Hope they've done something drastic to it this time.
