Arrrggghhhh!!! I dont believe it. According to the latest PSM2 magazine the original Playstation memory cards will NOT be compatible with the PS2.
Hours and hours of gameplay, all my cars from GT2 to be wiped clean in an instant. Oh well, what can you do?

That is true, I mean in the past Ive had to delete exsisting game files anyway in order to save new games, so really this is no different. With a huge 8mb of memory that should never need to happen again.

That is a downer. But think of this, imagine all the NEW data you will be able to gain from all the new games you will get. I reckon that within hours of getting your PS2, this hiccup will be at the back of your mind anyway.

did you know that if you have a PC you can make a cable to load your gamesaves onto it and then you would be able to reload them to the ps2 cards from your pc do a search on the web and you will find the software and instructions on how to make one
