I was playing super monkey ball, got to the end, it tried to save, told me the card was damaged and needed reformatting.
Lost everything on there. Except the SMB data, since the game was still going, and i could reformat and save everything agin.
Unbelievable. Not impressed : (
Anyway, I normally say, "Buy original or regret it", and to an extent this seems to hold true. But, I bought the Datel 64Meg cart and it is, well, fantastic!! Obviously time will tell, but so far it is the nads!
You can get one for £17/£18 from www.play.com
What are you waiting for?!!
buy the datel 64 megabit one :) I've had no problems with it so far. great value.
That's the best and safest option!
Then just buy an official one!
:)
Sorry, I don't know their address or anything so you'll have to look it up on-line.
Then again, they have their own 1 yr guarantee, and say they'll replace the item.
If it goes to argos, i could get my money back...
Ah, decisions, decisions.
Maybe you could send the card back to the manufacturers, tell them how extremely un-impressed you have been with their product on numorous occasions and that you would like something done about it.
And also add about how you'll be spending your money on other products, and they'll soon be shaking in their boots! ;D
Either that or you could contact BBC's Short Change and maybe get a few minutes of fame on the show as an added extra. They'll probably do most of the work for you too!
