SonicRav and monkey_man, if I were you, I'd be pretty damn happy if I had got to your stage (even though that's never gonna happen). I would be pleased that people respected me, even if others didn't, and even if it was a bunch of newbies.
All I'm saying is that although it is honourable that you've bothe pulled out, I still think it is a bit ungrateful of you. If you had told us that you didn't want to be voted for, then we wouldn't have all this rubbish going on about who the winner is, as people may not have voted for you in that case.
If you ask me, if you got voted by some of the clever people that did vote for you, then that's enough to really be notable (though the system is a bit unfair)
So just be notables. Because I think you deserve it. (Unless I got it wrong and you didn't win.....)

Allardini, now that the regulars who double voted for me have had their extra vote removed I'm happy to jump right back into the election.
The problem is that Monkey man won, and I'm only notable by default. Not because he cheated, or was rude, but because other people critised his posting. Odd that so many regulars and notable disagree. (he got 7 notable votes!).
