Right, a few months ago, you may remember I started a little voting page on my site. Many of you have voted, as well as a few people from ouside the forums. The voting page is still open, so if you haven`t voted yet and would like to vote then feel free to go to www.ssxpro.tk and click on "PS2 vote".

However, I thought it was time to give some feedback, as its now reached the important mark of 50 votes. There is a short summary on the same page as the voting form, but here are some more detailed results:

Game Name /// Votes /// Av. user rating (10)

MGS2 /// 34% /// 9.8
GTA3 /// 18% /// 9.6
Pro Evo /// 16% /// 9.8
GT3 /// 16% /// 10
THPS3 /// 6% /// 9
Jedi SF /// 2% /// 9
DMC /// 2% /// 9
JAD /// 2% /// 9
Tricky /// 2% /// 9
SH2 /// 2% /// 9

Other points:

- There have been 50 votes so far. Thank you to all who have voted.
- 58% of voters played their chosen game for between 15 and 30 hours.
- A further 40% spent more than 30 hours on their chosen game.
- No voter gave their chosen game less than 8/10 (reassuringly).
- From what I can see, nobody voted twice, which I appreciate.
- Most comments involved a description of how good the game was, but...
- Strangest comments:
>> "MGS2 because I`m worth it"
>> "I love Dante, because he has a really big... sword"
- One vote was excluded as Zelda is not on PS2.

As you can see though, Metal Gear Solid 2 is a clear winner (partly because the vote was started around the same time as MGS2 was released). GTA3 is in a strong second, and as you`d expect, top games like Pro Evo Soccer and GT3 are right behind.

Notable absences: Burnout, Maximo, Ico, Resident Evil CV and several others.

Thanks again for your votes.
