Like I said - *if* (big if) I get in, give it to someone else.
Cheers :D

I thought that was rather pointless, myself. How does it really help the situation? Maybe I'm just not seeing it straight, I dunno.
Oh, and the idea of Newbies voting is ridiculous. However, if a Newbie has been registered for a while and doesn't post loads, but a substantial ammount, I think they should be able to vote.
Anyway, I'm surprised VenomByte didn't get more votes, but I s'pose I would be considering I voted for him. Maybe he deserved more, maybe he didn't, but fortunately I don't think he really cares. In my mind, he's Notable.
I'm very surprised at Pro Evo being voted in, but he seems like a cool guy. I'm sure he'll visit FOG quite a lot, and hell, sometimes I spend more time in another certain forum than in here.
Congrats to SonicRav, he's been here around the same time as me and he's got a strong presence on the forums. Knows his gaming, which in my mind is still important.
I was also shocked at monkey_man's popularity, but then again he's that sort of guy I s'pose. Reminds me a lot of Goatboy. And he owns Cats, which makes him cool. {:)
I still think you should reconsider- even though you may not think you're worthy, lots of posters, regulars, notables and newbies alike, think you are.
I'm happy to step down for you- it'll certainly be a weight off my shoulders seeing as I'm now the "reject" who came in by default.

For me the choice was between you and Pro Evo, You because I find you entertaining, the Smelly Gippo stunt you pulled last week was superb, keep doing those things for us., Pro Evo because when I first came here I went to the Sony forum and I had some good discussions with him and he does some very good posts. Unlike alot of the new crop of posters in there who just keep going on about "Is my new post good enough for GAD?".
PE won my vote because of the influence he had on me when I first came here, if you dont get in this time then keep up the good work and you'll get my vote in three months..
there is are a few people who think that notability should be only for someone who votes in FOG chat, but come on, most of it in there is spam anyway, someone who makes a difference should be both a great poster and someone who can have a laugh, not someone who is 'popular' with people around the forums for posts that have no relevance to gaming at all.
WM's votes should count, meaning PE wins on votes anyhow.

I must raise a point here though... and that is that those of us (including me) who haven't seen much in the way of contributions to the forums from Pro Evo should consider how monkey man is viewed by those who only really use the Sony forums. He mainly posts pictures and gimmicks to entertain, which is great if you like that. But it's also going to look like spam if you don't.
I have been reading some of Pro Evo's stuff on the Sony/Playstation forum though, and you couldn't class it as spam however you looked at it. He may be a Sonyling, but he is nonetheless a decent poster.
As the chatforums grow bigger and bigger here at SR, it's inevitable that people can't visit every forum, and you are going to get groups of people who stick to one forum or the other. Myself, I rarely visit any of the single format forums, but browse most of the others frequently. Others will stay only in the FOG chat, or only in the Sony forum. Obviously then, there was going to come a time when someone from one of these groups was elected notable - much to the disbelief of the others.
So, is it really out of order for him to be notable?

Not to mention the 4 Newbies who popped up out of the blue within the last hour of voting...all voting for you in the space of 14 minutes.
One of them had only ever made 4 posts...
Not having a pop at ya by the way...
Secondly, will they even make 2 notables as people say? As I remember, it has been the exception to make 2 notables at once. The first time it happened was because Sheepy just missed out on becoming one of the original notables, and then came 2nd in the first election. The next time it happened was because the vote was so close. Either way, 2 notables is the exception- not the rule. Looking at how the voting went it looks like Pro Evos got it in any case then!

Although the notables having 2 votes each is a good point.
