"Whatever happened to Radiohead?"

I found an old minidisc earlier with all the demos and leaked stuff from just before Amnesiac came out. It was amazing - none of that electro crap, it was like The Bends. All the band were playing bits on guitars. No drum machines or electro-beats. It was how Radiohead were when they were at their best. There's a version of Big Boots that was made from bits of studio takes and it's amazing. The finished song is nothign like it and it falls flat on it's miserable face. It's even got the studio techs in the background going "That sounds fooking amazing...". And it does. And I found a version of Banana Co. that I'd never heard before - but I tihnk it's the one they released (I'd only ever heard an acoustic version). It'll try and upload some of the tracks at some time - they really are worth a listen.

I heard some excellent songs recorded during the Kid A/Amnesiac session and they were good...
