"Haiku Thread"

This may or may not catch on.

Basically, write a random Haiku, it's easy.

For those who don't know, a haiku is composed of three lines, line one has 5 syllables, line two has seven syllables, and line three has 5 syllables.

eg:

I walk in the dark
the black night gives me comfort
darkness, walk with me

of course, you can vary the theme to describe another board poster, or to describe how your day has been, or anything like that.

GO!

it also showed an ignorance of the haiku format. Nice effort though...

Here is a quick World Cup one to get us in the spirit.

England for the World Cup?
Maybe if Owen and Beckam are fit.
If not, then they won't.

Ok, it was crap, but it did only take me 5mins to come up with it :D

I still don't know why though
because they are poo!

tight structure and syllablic quotas, yet Sonnets often result in the most powerful poetry...
