Could anyone tell me anything about laptops and graphic cards like can you put the same ones in as desktop p.c's and how much they cost? are they easy to install?

you can't install a new GPU, the GeForce is already installed.

You might want to look at the Geforce Go series of GPUs: I have no idea how installable they are, but this is type of unit you'd need for 3D gaming on a laptop.

AFAIK, unless it's some very bizarre and hoooge laptop, you can't upgrade the graphics on them. It's built into the motherboard which is the main part of the lappy. Sorry.
