Yep, just incase you'd miss it (i would have but for a fluke), fog chat is hosting the current notable vote today.
Ah well, it seems like i was a bit late to ditch my morals and start a france / holland style far right movement in the forums to try to ride a wave of fear and loathing all the way to a yellow name, and once again we've failed to get the ninty forum to vote together to get a ninty in as notable. You can all vote for your mates if you want, but they won't ever get in, so it's a bit of a waste of your own time really. Had we all co-operated, we could have had a propper ninty notable.

Meanwhile, to save this thread from becoming completely meaningless by the time the vote is decided, i'd like to know what people think about something - do we have far too many notables?
I'm sure there are pleanty of people who you could say are deserving of it, but doesn't it lose the point of notability when every man and his pet chimp with a keyboard has their name in yellow? I don't mean to insult anyone with alleged notability, but we've already got loads, and this time we're voting for 2 more.
Quick test - name all the notables. If you can do it, well done, but i doubt there'd be many who can, and if so, do you really know much about these people?
It doesn't seem like they're really all that notable to me.

We do need a Nintendo notable, (hell every other forum comes up with some eloborate scheme) we should sort one out just to annoy everyone for next time methinks.

In fairness, a lot of regulars do too.. and i don't think it's all the notables who are like that, but you're right, they do seem to get away with much more.
