One customer who had pre-ordered their console from Electronic's Boutique found out that he would not be recieving his console on the desired date. He had pre-ordered his console on April 5th; nearly SIX months in advance. It turns out that regardless of the time when the pre-order was made, a new list had been compiled for individuals who had paid for the full price of the console up front and in advance. This new list would ultimately determine who would recieve the console on October 26th. What's worse, is that this individual was never informed by EB about these changes, and that he had to pay the full amount in advance.
Ok this maybe in America but ive only paid the deposit for my ps2 and just wondered that if there was a worst case scenario would the people who had paid for thier ps2s in full get priority???
What does everyone else think about it?
Thank's alot regard's Springer
I pre-ordered with Game in March, but they weren't allowed - by Sony - to take any money. Unfortunately, the official pre-order system seems to over-ride any and all shop-based pre-order systems which happened beforehand.
I suppose if there is a worst-case scenario, it would make sense - in a very twisted way - that those who paid in full had priority.
Mind you, from a purely selfish point of view, if it *is* true, then I'm happy - I payed for my PS2 in full on September 7th, just in case something like this happened.
