Ok a few of you probably have allready seen these screens but for those who have'nt, follow the link below...

http://www.cube-europe.com/news/102196456548046.html

Now, presuming these screens are real (and theres no reason they should'nt be) we have something great (Rideable yoshi!) and something rather disurbing but also great (Link on a viking boat) for weeks people have been going on about seeing as mario sunshine borrows elements from super mario world (the wire mesh) it should include the best aspect of the game... a rideable yoshi! and it looks like Nintendo have answered our prayers (for once).

Now, onto Zelda, allthough I'm sure that this will be without a doubt the best zelda game ever since Ocarina Of Time, I can't help but think that Shigsy's kinda, well... how should I put this? Lost the plot!?! I mean the name The Legend Of Zelda is mainly because of one of the characters in the series... Zelda! and what happened in Majora's mask? No Zelda! and apparently guess whats happening in this one? yep! you guessed it No Zelda! as reports suggest Link has to rescue his sister and I can't help but feel that the series is kind of losing it's roots instead of going back to them.

*sigh* I really don't know what kind of wacky storyline Shigsy's gonna come up with for this potential epic, but it had better be good, meanwhile I guess we will just have to wait and see what the next few days bring...

Heres to the future! (sorry Dringo could'nt resist! :D)

Really?? *sniggers*

On a serious note, they do look very strange. I guess you either love 'em, or you hate 'em.

I shall be content with the fact Rogue Leader is easily as good as Rogue Squadron was. I got addicted to that game during my GCSE study leave and probably would have got better grades if I'd revised.

I dare to say it but I agree with Stryke here, I am buying a gamecube, already claimed super monkey ball but I was hoping zelda and mario kart would also be great but these screenshots just make me think zelda has gone too cartoonish.

Bad move in my view.h

Zelda is cel shaded. I haven't a clue what that means but it doesn't look half as good as Ocarina of Time did on a inferior console, so I judge it crap before it comes out. I wanted another Ocarina of Time to convince me to get Gamecube to accompany my much-loved N64, but I get cartoon crap. Cheers Nintendo.

That would make sense much like arthurian legends dont have to include arthur, stories of merlin on his own can be described as arthurian

Nintendo are ruining everything!

First they ruin Mario. It still has a chance not to be ruined if it's like Mario 64 and not Luigi's Mansion but they'll probably ruin it.

Then they ruin Zelda. Okay so it's probably great. But the cel shaded look sucks!

And I know they've ruined something else, but I can't remember what. :-D

Grrrrrrr!

Zelda isn't losing its roots in fact it keeps going back to them. The fact is the Legend of Zelda describes what is happening at this time frame, its the legends of this land that is ruled by Zelda... capish?

Yes its all very nice now where's the wario world pics and the massive new games i've been waiting for.
