im thinking in subscribing to adsl using pipex (£23 a month) but be4 i do i need to purchase a broadband modem, the 1 pipex r offering is just a standard 1 where u connect it to your usb port (£125!) so a big 2 thingers to that, anyway i noticed SR are offering an external modem for a tidy £80 which is tempting but it doesn't show any specs on it. idealy i want to purchase a modem that will let me use broadband on my pc but i also want it to have a spare port on it where i can also connect my xbox to it allowing me to play games etc when they rollout their service.
does any1 know if SR external modem has a spare port to allow me to do this or where i can get a modem that can?
or does any1 know if im wasting my time with this because microsoft are gonna b releasing their own xbox specific modem which u have 2 purchase in order to use broadband on xbox?
thanks in advance...
