Okay, I haven't written anything like this for a long time, but late last night I really felt the need. I'm not sure I really like it, but everyone else posts their feelings here, and if this helps, I'm willing to try it:

I look at you, lying there,
So peaceful, so trusting,
You rest your head on me,
For you, our friendship is complete.
I want to tell you everything,
Everything that is in my head,
I want to share this secret,
But if I do, I know all this will be lost.
You know more about me than anyone,
Anyone on this earth,
Yet you do not know this,
This most important of all things
But I stay silent; I have to.
To speak now would be to waste
All the times we have shared;
Break all the bonds we have made

You are happy with him,
And yet my two halves fight:
Friendship tells me it is good,
Love tells me to hate it.
So who will win this war?
Love is resigned to defeat,
The victim of circumstances
Beyond its control
But friendship shows the way,
You do love me.
Not in the way I want, but,
That does not make the love less real

It is good. I am working on a novel, actually. Eventually i might post parts of it, but if i get it published, you will have to buy it off me. I won't post it all here for free if i can make money selling books, you know :)
