Heard a Story today that Roberto Ayala maybe in talks with United over a move, apparently Biesla (Argentinian Coach) has banned all talk of transfer's but I read today that Ayala thinks a move to Utd maybe on, and reports suggests Fergie has a agreed a £40,000 a week for Ayala.

Valencia don't wont to sell the player but are in severe debts and are to sell one or two of their big name players this summer...Hopefully we'll snap him up, because lets face it our defence needs him...

But will he fit in?

So far South Americans hae not done brilliantly in Premiership football, but we'll have to wait an see.

on another note..It also seems that Blanc we'll be signing a one year deal next week as gesture of good will to Sir Alex.

I also only see Wes Brown as a back up player for any of the centre back positions or rightback, I think he needs to train a bit more and get his upper body strength up because he seems to get muscled off the ball too easily at time for my liking, we all know Fergie see Balnc as his main man at the back so its likely someone will come in to partner him rather than wes brown.

Oh yeah, how could I forget Wes Brown!!?
I just don't quite see him as ready for regular first team football at the highest levels yet.
Still a great defender though, and could be usefull this summer.

As for Silvestre, he's a left-back and we all know that.
I also think he could be tested on the left-wing more. I remember the last time he did that was in a friendly against Celtic last pre-season. He wore the no.9 shirt (LOL!!) and played very well. He also scored the first goal too! It's his attacking yet defensive nature that makes him such a good left-sided full-back.

And we'll keep Veron.

What about Mr. Brown? I think Wes will be a major player next season (as long as he can stay injury free) with O'Shea and Blanc acting as back-ups.

Silvestre says he wants to play centre-back, but I can't see it if he keeps making these mistakes. I reckon Brown and Ayala for the centre next season. (Or maybe Nesta and Ayala, still reckon we'll swap Veron and Nesta!)

I reckon Ayala will be the first major signing we make this summer.
It seems pretty likely that the deal will go through as long as a reasonable fee can be agreed. Valencia will also wanna cash-in now before his contract ends at the end of next season, when he could leave on a free.

And the Blanc news is also good.
Despite what people say, I think Ayala and Blanc could make a good partnership at the back next season.

And as long as Veron, Forlan and some of the more experienced players do stay, then Ayala shouldn't find it too hard to settle in.

So, that could be the defence sorted with John O'Shea and David May ready to act as back-up centre-backs.

Your movin to the premiership then? cool

Heh

Yeh your right about South Americans needing fellow country men around them to fit in, I just think that they need at least 2/3 seasons to fit in hence Seba and Forlan has shown potential but will probably need next season to show real goal scoring potential

Another player, Nolberto Solano took a few seasons to get a grip with the English game and a Chilean Midfielder who plays(ed) for Newcastle - Acuna hasnt at all.

However Ive seen Ayala Play and he does look like the kind of defender we urgently need, but we need improvement immiediatly at the back and I hope he fits in straight away..

I suppose you could say that for any player though, theres always a risk in buying someone incase they wont fit in.

If we want these South American players to fit in we have to make sure they got other South americans around them to make them feel more at home.

We already got Forlan and Veron so a trio of them could be pretty cool. Also read that Ortega may be up for a move to the premiership...
