I have recently set up a website (http://www.jibberjabberdc.co.uk) which is a forum dedicated to mainly Dreamcast disscussion. I would like to take this opportunity to not only invite you there; but top start up this topic with the first question:

Yes. I still get enjoyment from my DC, so i beleive it is not dead. Games can be purchased dirt cheap online (obviously from Special Reserve cough, cough) and it is still the only console that is online right now. All the other consoles have online capabilities; but they just have not been activated!
Commercially: it's dead.
Entertainment-wise: it's very much alive.
Just this morning I played through the last area of REZ - the awakening "eden" section is truly a wonderful gaming moment.

Well, not really any more games coming out for it, most shops don't sell it and those that do have it at the back of the shop in a poorly-lit corner. Hardly anyone has games for it. So yea, it's dead.
However, mine still gives me enjoyment and I wouldn't sell it for the world.
