Apparently, George Lucas has already written up Episodes 7, 8, 9.

Oh.

Dear.

May actions speak louder than words.

Lucas has stated categorically that he will neither write nor direct episodes 7 8 and 9.

As far as I'm aware, he hasn't denied that he won't get someone else to do them...

There are nine stories which were published as books. Mr. Lucas made stories 4, 5 and 6 because he thought those were the most exciting (which they were). Then for some reason (er ... money?) he decided to make stories 1, 2 and 3.

He has stated categorically the he will NOT make stories 7, 8 or 9 and he will also NOT allow anyone else to do them, either.

For this sort of information reliable updated daily read teletext pages 410 onwards on Channel 4, or pages 570+ on BBC.

*nods*

I agree with Brad... all the episodes were written thirty years ago and based around the idea of prequels and the original three. No more than that.

Don't be silly. I think what you are going on about is the books that were written a long long time ago, which all the films are written around.
