I have just bought a sony cinema surround sound kit with all the correct leads and linked it up with my ps2 and telly. The telly has a scart socket which works fine. All was well when playing games but when it came to playing DVD's the sound was great but the film was in green. Can any 1 help? Cheers

It's a disc that you can buy that will stop the green screen, and allow multi region DVD playback.
The reason for the Green Screen is simply Sony's own incompetence. Every single other DVD player on the market allows you to play pictures though an RGB Scart lead... but the PS2 doesn't. Although Sony have said this is to stop piracy, I think you'll find that none of Sony's other DVD players have this "feature".

Macrovision is enough. It's just the PS2 doesn't have it. Apparently though, future versions of the DVD driver will include it.
Thats Sony's very own protection kicking in, as if the macrovision isn't enough Sony added something to make only the green appear when using the RGB cable. Region X clears the problem otherwise you either have to keep switching cables ;-)
