I've just read that Gamecue will be dropping in price (in America) from $200 to $149.

That is roughly £102. Is this just an American thing or can we expect to get a Gamecube for EVEN cheaper.

P.S. Are their any rumours on PS2 and XBOX price drops at all?

Actually stateside, GC was the last to announce a price drop. Xbox was the first to drop price, then PS2, both to $199.

Considering the US price for the GC was actually more than the European release price, (I paid €199 in Dublin and a euro is only about 90¢ US), we were actually paying less than the Americans for the GC, until this US price drop.

I want to get two official controlers because they are better than the third party ones. I might just buy 2 Logic 3 propads at £14.99 each so that I can play against my mates. The £9.99 controllers look bulky and if the cheap N64 controllers are anything to go by, they will probably be crap as well! I'll get 3 controllers at first but SR are bound to give free gifts soon so I will get the crappy controller as a free gift.

I want to get 4 games because I have got the money to at the moment and I want a nice collection to start me off. In process of trying to win GAD. Got a few good topics, just need to write them!

The soundstation was only if the sound on the TV is crap. I've got an extremely large tv in my room. About 18 years old! It's a large screen, colour and good picture but the sound on it is quite... poo

I need the RF changer thingy because the TV is so old!

The mini screen will only be if I go on holiday again this year. We usually DRIVE to Italy! Imagine a day sat in a car with nothing to play. Mmmm just thought, I could get a GBA! Good idea!

The list goes on. That's the thing about the X box there aren't many exclusive game they're mainly PS2 ports, Dreamcast ports or PC ports.

I got a GC/Scart Lead/One Controller and three quality games, and a massive mem card for £240.

Thats an XBox and one game. Not much of a hard decision is it?

Sony have announced NO price drop.

Soi I guess all 3 consoles will drop in september.... before xmas.

I got my GC for £170 with 2 games.:)
