Predictive typing lets you type one letter per button press, effectively. Maybe add a press or two at the end. Using non-predictive typing, you'll need on average two/three presses per letter. Is it really worth the effort? It doesn't save you time, it's harder to read, and looks retarded.
So why the hell do people still use it?
Unless of course, you take the time to add the 'txtspk' words to your phone's dictionary....
