Those who know me one these forums should know that I'm not exactly the world's keenest gamer. I've got a PS2, but I only ever play Grand Theft. I have a passion for Tony Hawks as well, but that's about it. Imagine my surprise though, when reading a couple of issues of OPM, I saw a load of games that I would like to buy. Robotech first - that looks great. There's another game about an earthquake that I saw a while back, that's getting a UK release now! Cool! I'm also after Dropship - that appeals to me because it's meant to be hard.

I had Robocop on the Spectrum. The biggest challenge was getting it to work! There was an awesome bit where you had to shoot the bloke in the nuts through the woman's skirt. I couldn't ever do it, prefering to shoot the woman in the face instead.

As for the games:
The earthquake one looks like it's gonna rule. Imagine being in a huge playable city when suddenly there's an earthquake and you have to escape from buildings by utilising the environment around you. Can't wait.

Robotech is based on some American manga type cartoon that I've never seen because I don't watch cartoons. From the screenshots it looked like a cel-shaded version of Appleseed. I also can't wait for this one.

I played a demo today of MOH:Frontline. I WILL be getting this game because it just has so much ownage going on.

Also, Auto Modelista looks fab.

Damn, 4 games - that's gonna hurt my student loan.

I posted a topic on this game a while back, forgot the name now because it's some wierd Japenese thing you could spend all day trying to say.

It's original though, a game where an Earthquake has hit leaving you in a building surrounded by water and no help and you must find a way to escape with everything basically fragile.

Sounds cool but looks a bit boring for my liking. Posted a while back on it though, got no replies :-)

I've only heard of Dropship and I don't know much about it. How about you describe them to me.
