Welcome to the first of a series of matches that will determine the new No.1 Contenders for the SRW Tag Team Titles! I’m sure the Hardy Boyz (Ice Blaster and Grandprix) will be watching this match with interest, as will the competitors in the other No 1. Contenders match, Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall (DW) and Billy and Chuck (Cong Man and RM18). The winner of today’s match will face off against the winner of the nWo and Billy and Chuck, and the eventual winner of that match will become the No.1 Contenders for the Hardyz titles… so there’s a hell of a lot at stake here folks!
Howard Finkel gets on the mic. “This match is scheduled for one fall, to determine the No.1 Contenders, introducing, at a combined weight of 546 pounds, D’lo Brown and the Godfather (Tazz and Allardini)!” Godfather comes out, as usual accompanied to the ring by a bevy of beautiful ladies, along with D’lo Brown, walking out with one or two himself! They stroll down the ramp to a mixed reaction, the boos from certain members of the crowd clashing with the cheers for you know who! Finkel speaks again. And their opponents, at a combi…
TURN IT UP! Too Cool (Ant and Starlight) are in the house! The crowd are giving them a huge pop, and they are responding by busting some moves on the ramp! The crowd is going nuts! But Godfather and D’lo meet them up the ramp – the dancing ends here! This match has started early with some impromptu brawling! D’lo and Scotty start exchanging punches, Scotty getting the edge. Ouch! The Godfather just rammed GMS into the barrier on the outside, his body rebounding against steel mesh. The Godfather picks him up and whips him into the side of the ring. He starts stomping on him…but S2H comes from nowhere to barge him down. Irish whip by S2H…STRAIGHT INTO THE STEEL STEPS!
Good god! That looked vicious, S2H gaining revenge on the Godfather for what he did to GMS by propelling him into the steel steps, knocking them down in the process! And the match hasn’t even started yet! S2H climbs into the ring and the crowd cheer! D’lo gets up and slides into the ring…DING DING DING! The match officially starts as the Godfather and Grandmaster Sexay ascend groggily to their respective corners. Knockdown by Scotty, bounces against the ropes and hits the elbow drop. Goes for the early cover, this could be over quickly…1…2…kick out by
D’lo, its going to take a lot more than that.
They exchange right hands, but D’lo gets the upper hand with a headlock. S2H fights out and bounces off the ropes, Scotty with a shoulder block on D’lo. S2H runs off the ropes again, jumps over D’lo, but D’lo moves out the way, spins him round…Falling Powerbomb by D’lo! But he isn’t going for the pin! He tags in Godfather, and they start stomping on S2H. GMS tries to get in the ring to save his partner but the ref won’t let him. The crowd is really showing their disdain by heavily booing. Finally the ref turns round and D’lo gets out the ring, but just look at Scotty, the damage has already been done!
S2H is desperately trying to reach Grandmaster for a much needed tag, but the Godfather grabs his ankle and pulls him back into the middle of the ring, resulting in further booing from the fans. Godfather kicks S2H in the gut, and hits him with a Scoop Slam. He stomps a few more times on Scotty’s ribs, and picks his beaten body up again. Suplex! What a Suplex by the Godfather, he put all his weight behind that. But once again he doesn’t go for the pin!
The Godfather picks up Scotty and places him in the centre of the ring. What is he doing? Scotty is just standing there dazed in the centre of the ring, GMS desperately trying to get a tag to his partner. The Godfather tags in D’lo. What are they doing? D’lo and Godfather go to opposite ropes…oh no it’s going to be a double clothesline! They hit the ropes, arms ready…BUT SCOTTY DUCKS! GODFATHER AND D’LO JUST CLOTHESLINED EACH OTHER!
Look at that impact; they nearly took each other’s head off! All three men are on the floor. Scotty is slowly dragging his body to the turnbuckle and a waiting GMS. He’s got to hurry, as D’lo and the Godfather are getting to their feet. Can he get the tag…Yes! The crowd go wild! Clothesline to D’lo! Clothesline to the Godfather out of the ring! GMS climbs out the ring and starts stomping on the Godfather who falls on the floor. GMS turns to get back in the ring…BUT A LOW BLOW! Godfather hits a low blow on GMS, who staggers back and falls onto the Godfather, hitting both their heads pretty hard on the barrier outside, while the ref tries to separate them.
Scotty has recovered and sees a slowly recovering D’lo holding on the ropes, trying to get up. With the referee out of sight Scotty can see revenge - he climbs into the ring hits the ropes…bulldog to D’lo!! The crowd are going nuts!! We know what’s coming next! W – O – R – M…HOO…HOO…HOO…SMACK! S2H HITS THE WORM ON D’LO! He goes for the pin…but he’s not the legal man! He can’t pin him! S2H slides out the ring and grabs GMS pushing him into the ring and putting him on top of D’lo. The ref goes for the count…this is it…1…2…KICK OUT!!
S2H can’t believe it!! The crowd are shaking their heads in disbelief…they thought it was over! S2H whispers something in GMS ear…Grandmaster Sexay is going for the worm! W – O – R – M…HOO…HOO…HOO…SMACK! GMS HITS ANOTHER WORM ON A BROKEN D’LO!!! Scotty stops the Godfather from entering the ring…the ref drops for the count...1…2…3!!!
The crowd cheer like crazy! Too Cool (Ant and Starlight) are the winners! Godfather and D’lo Brown start to argue amongst themselves – their chance of tag team glory is gone! We’ll have to wait and see who they’ll be facing next, but for now at least, Too Cool dance up the ramp…victorious!

Great match Russ, really good. You managed to write quite a lot without really using any weapons or having any controversy. I agree with Matt, all you need to do is make you sure you put the SR usernames in brackets more during the match. However this was a tag match so you don't know who is who, so it's okay. {:)
