I played Silent Hill 2 a long time ago now and being honest it scared me a little, I played it very late at night with 8 speakers pumping out the sound and allowed the whole thing to get to me. I was scared, frightened, confused, everything the game is supposed to offer I took willingly never looking away at an uncomfortable moment.

This morning I woke up from a dream in shock, I Dreamt this girl (who I really know) lead me into this very small room, similar to the one in silent hill where if you turn your torch off those little crawler things appear from everywhere and climb all over you (near the sewer). I went into this room and somehow knew what was coming, I knew the best way around it was to just get it over with, but exactly what I wasn't sure! Suddenly the room changed, went dark, green etc and the girl walked back into the room eyes shut, disfigured, face discoloured coming straight for me and I was petrified! In the uneasy light it’s hard to see and in that size room there’s no place out of reach. If she’d have opened her eyes after such a long time I think I’d have died of shock.

Next thing I knew I appeared in this other room where this man asked me to kneel down and place my arms across my chest. I was scared at what I thought was inevitable (death) so I stalled, The person said “do you want me to f**king kill you? Cross, your arms!! After I’d crossed my arms and my heart beated to the max, the man unexpectedly walked away.

Later in my dream I returned to just outside the room and found the girl sitting on the side bench, she looked at me in such a way that I woke up. As soon as I came to, I turned on the light, checked the room and knew almost immediately why I’d dreamt such a thing! Silent Hill 2!!!

Have you ever had a dream provoked by a game?

The lucky ones get lara, I got this :-(

They say anaesthetic is meant to put you in a dreamless sleep. So why is it when I had an operation I was dreaming about playing one of my favourite games?

I was out for around an hour, though it seemed like only 25 seconds - as I dreamt I was playing the first level of Super Mario Bros, and when I got to the end of the level, I woke up, blood in my mouth and half my teeth missing (orthdontal-operation).

After playing Resident Evil 3 for stupidly long times and watching Dawn of the Dead at night I had a dream about Zombies taking over the world, it didn't make much sense but I had a gun and I shot them so it rocked.

I remember after playing Silent Hill 2, I had a dream where I was just jumping down into dark pit after dark pit without end. There's alot of jumping into dark pits in SH2.

Just remembered where the second part came from. I was watching this Jean Claude van damme film with hostages kneeling down at gunpoint, must be from there. Ignore that part ;-)
