I require some help if any one knows the answer to this question.

We upload files to a .UK site hosted on freeola and also have the .COM address to currently the .com points to the .UK folder which works grand untill you try to go to a page directly IE .com/test.htm when you try this you get the freeola error page I know its because there are no files on the .com space, is there a way around this with out uploading the whole site to both spaces - by using .htacces files or other wise? any tips please

Ah good glad it's sorted. May have been a delay in the DNS server updates.

Ok I have moved the .com into the same account as the .co.uk site and its pointing to the correct folder now so now I just need to wait till the server updates. It is working as it should on some other sites that are pointing to it, I think there has been a mix up when the domain came to Freeola. It said to wait 20 mins but thats well gone now and its still not working just yet (be patient Digi) any staffies lookig at this thread today?

Yeah that has worked for me in the past this time having looked further in to this when the .com was moved to freeola its pointing to a different folder than the .co.uk and yeah the .com is forwarding but only on the index page I think I need to move the .com to point to the .co.uk folder and also combine accounts, IE move the .com beside the .co.uk thats what am going to try now fingers crossed

Hi Digi,
I you use MyFreeola to share the same web space for the two domain names then it will work how you want it to.
