Hi guys.

I downloaded Sega Genesis to play Sonic 2. So i went and downloaded it, then i saved it on Notepad, then it said this file is to big for notepad. So i downloaded it again and it keeps saying this file is to big for Notepad. So then i deleted Notepad, still says it. Could any one tell me how i can save it into a diffrent file. And how do you get the games?

Thanks for your time.

There's a dedicated site to playing sonic games, Sonicroms.co[m/.uk], but I don't think that's the *ACTUAL* address. Google for "Sonicroms" (no space) and see what you get. It's a shoddy site, but it does have every Sonic game pre-Saturn ever. I have the site in my bookmarks on my other (ahem, "removed") box. i know where it is, just surrepticiously boting it is the problem. God, I hate my mother. She's destroyed my 18 day 100% usage uptime, the cow.

I'm not sure what you've downloaded, but I'd junk it and start again. Go to emuhelp.com and download an emulator like Xega or Genecyst (and make sure you get the program and not the source code) from there. As for games, you'll have to look a bit harder, I'm afraid. Newsgroups are the best place to find what you want: get a decent newsreader like xnews and a copy of winrar before you start downloading stuff.

But remember you have to OWN any game you download and play ;~)
