Nowadays the internet is a common thing in the modern home but is this really what we want for our consoles technicly yes of course but what about a normal 56k modem if we tryed to play 'unreal' or even 'gran turismo' online a mere 56k modem would surly fail the frame-rate would drop and we would soon loose all control over the game,sure if a 'super console' where to go on broad band as is planned it would work but the cost it too great for many gamers you see untill more people go to broadband the prices will stay up but due to the high prices not as many peolple will go on so it is a vicious circle.
Gaming is constantly moving forward and with it technology but how long will it take for broadband to catch on and become a standard feature to a super console?
