Every day, scores of immigrants from the Sangat Red cross centre break in to a freight yard, and become stowaways on Eurostar trains through the channel tunnel beknown to the French authorities, and encouraged by French presidential candidate Jean Marie Le Pen.
These immigrants then claim asylum in the UK, and are more often than not given three bedroom houses, regular incomes and in some cases even cars (This is true, and is a regular ocurrance in my area).
They receive care on the NHS, and receive prority treatment, while the rest of us have to wait.
If a British citizen was to stowaway on a train on the Eurotunnel, they would be prosecuted by the French athorities for not having a passport, and also trespassing on private land. they would also be prosecuted by Eurotunnel for cheating them out of the fare.
However with the soft touch that Britain takes on asylum seekers (Bogus et all) its no wonder that immigrants would rather live in the UK; Tax free regular incomes, cars, houses, healthcare etc.
There are certain areas where if you were ask a question to most people, tehy would look at you blankly, on account that most of the people do not speak a word of english.

Some Asylum Seekers do get provided accomodation. Some of the are qualified nurses and doctors. They pay rent. They help the UK out by boosting the workforce in crucial areas. And if the real facts were examined, you would see that a 3 bedroom house for a family of 9 is hardly luxury...
Apart from anything else you should realise how the UK stands in relation to the rest of the world. We are a rich country, benefiting from a historically based structure that exploits less developed countries. Britain is a guilty nation and needs to recompense in some way.
It's not about accomodation or cars, it's about being able to live in a country where your basic human rights are observed. Homelessness in London is sad, but should not be confused with or compared to immigration. Rough sleepers are still, technically, allowed their freedoms.
A person is a person, regardless of nationality. If you are prepared to help a British citizen who you don't know, why not anyone else you don't know? We live in a screwed up world because certain people are judgemental and narrow minded when it comes to being compassionate.
