god knows mate , i made my own surround system out of my stereo , about 15 metres of speaker wire , and 8 speakers , wired them all up , and it sounds just like my dads really dolby surround sound downstairs. just get a load of computer speakers , a stereo , and some solder , and it does the same job.

Thanks chief, I did think it might work on a pro-logic system but does that mean the rear channnels are reduced bandwidth and in mono, the reason i ask is pro logic II uses full-bandwidth stereo rear channels.

As far as I understand it, you only need an A/V amp that is capable of regular Pro Logic. It works on my system which is not a specific Pro Logic II.

The technology features compatibility with existing hardware and backward compatibility with stereo and surround equipment.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
