nooooo same here i hae to resist SSBM till at least the 31st or something :S arrgg woe is me!!
Additions included a few replaced items and baddies to make it different in hidden mansion mode.
Anyway, the game is superbly detailed, and although a little repetitive, and a bit short, it is still a quality title, and you get the impression that any other company would not have brought it out for fear of 'Sucking ghost up with a hoover - That is so GAY!' and other intelligent comments being hrown at them by 'mature' gamers.
It is a very short, but lovingly crafted and superbly detailed game, with lovely lighting efects. I've got Burnput and Rogue Leader, which I play more on (as RL has quite simply the coolest space battles ever on it) but it isa superb title, but if you want value for money, wait for Mario.
Games are made for the fun value that it brings to the gamer. They are created for this purpose and are a luxury for you to enjoy. Thats why its all called 'entertainment'. They are there to entertain you. Is this needed to be explained any further?
Right then, we'll move on.
The big people behind the desks that make the game are all trying to think of the games that will give a gamer this entertainment value and come up with an idea that sounds like it will be a big hit or at least capture a few gamers, who will then pass on the word and maybe get a few other people liking the game.
These people spend months and months, almost years creating the game and take the time doing this, trying to think of more brilliant ways to improve the game slightly. An added effect or just a little feature, anything like this.
When the game comes out and is slated by people saying things like "oh its alright, but I dont like it THAT much because its just too short" or "well its ok, but I just dont like the graphics, if they were better then i'd like it."
Rubbish, complete and utter rubbish.
Games shouldnt be critisized over little things like this and should be given the praise or critisizm for its ability to provide the value of entertainment you want, need or expect.
Just because a game may be poor in a certain area, it doesnt meen that it has failed. What I meen by failed is not providing the fun and entertainment value to the gamer. Those who say that a game has failed them, often are rambling on about the graphics of a game or the sound or something like that. They dont really think what the games purpose is.
To me, the fun aspects of the game are often found in the storyline and the things that you can actually do in the game. If you can do something that will make me laugh then yeah, that would be a great bonus. If it could keep me laughing or just completely stuck to it because of an intense or basically really great story then this would also be a huge bonus.
And so, if you want my opinion on Luigi's mansion and if it really is that bad of a game then here you go. No, I cant see it being a bad game. It brings the fun home and it is as simple as that. Its vintage Luigi kicking ghosty butt with his brand spanking new Dyson! How can it not be fun?
If it gives the gamers something to play which they like and will give them the fun they need then no, it cant really be that bad.
The problem most people think when they are playing this game is the relatively short amount of time needed to complete it.
If, in that time, it delivers the thrill and sheer enjoyment to the person playing, then it shouldnt be seen or spoken bad of at all.
But, if the gamer doesnt feel that he/she has been given the entertainment value then maybe it isnt so good to them. But still, shouldnt be slated.
As we all know, "It should all be our own opinion" and so if it brings you what you need then great, if not, badluck.
Again, and I will stress, this is all my own opinion.
MH.
ISS2 is really good if i was gonna choose between them i would choose ISS2.

And yes it is a good idea to have something to do quickly like play SSBM when not revising....just don't get carried away!
