What are you talking about?
Are yours attacking eachother or something? I know my PS2 isnt growing legs and walking down to the local game shop to start a fight with the other consoles.
Maybe thats just mine though...... anyone else finding this?
*cough*
Anyway, if what you meen by "peace between the 3 consoles" to being a friendly handshake between the 3 companies then I still dont know what you are on about.
This has baffled me since day one and since I had started to see people moaning and everything about console wars and how each of the companies hate eachother.
Yes, of course, they are all in direct competition with eachother but I dont really think they are holding grudges and are not in an intense rivalry between themselves.
Its just like hype, it spreads like the plague. It gets around in an instant and as time passes the messages get a little twisted and distorted to suit those people who may hold grudges and maybe like to start arguements. Things can be saidbut this doesnt meen something straight away.
Each company wants thier console to succeed. Each fan of each console want thier favourite to succeed. Its exactly like watching a sport like football and having your favourites there. You always want your team to win and not the others. And, even if it takes anything to make them do this, then it will be done. And so, as for the consoles and thier fans, they could be telling you things that you shouldnt believe.
In my opinion, there are no real wars going on with the companies and there is a state of peace between them already. It only takes a few people to say "Console wars - who will win?" to get the whole of the gaming nation thinking about things and taking some things the wrong way, thus stimulating thier needs for arguments and for the opposition to lose.
They will say things about each company and the fans of others will throw things back at them.
So in a way, we are arguing with ourselves.
The competition may be strong between the console companies but if you ask me, the consoles are made for the games, and so, the competition and real area where disagreements are being made, is in the software companies minds. The guys and girls who make the games. But, even then, there couldnt be so much of a string disagreement.
Ive said it once and i'll say it again, we are arguing with ourselves mainly and in my opinion....... there is no war going on and the peace is already here.
Thankyou.

I did an exact post of this ages ago, i'll find the link for you.
Oh, and about the XBOX robot wars, this sorta speaks for itsself:
"Yeah, the XBOX dropped its price to £199.99. Great news huh? Well, at first...but unfortunately, after dropping the price, when it landed the XBOX crushed about 600 people to death."
