These are probbally the most popular game type in the UK and i still think that they can be much more realistic than they are. First off i think EA should bring out a Fifa game which is not as fast as Fifa 2000, and Fifa 99 aso. I cant stand playing the Football games that have a arcade style to them because the scores will end up being 20-19 every game, whick i dont think will ever happen in a Arsenal v Man Utd match. I prefer the ISS games at the moment even though they dont include club teams. This game is much more like a Simulation game and you rarely gat the 20-19 scorelines. However not including club sides lets this game down alot i think. I dont mind creating a club side on the game but i think now that they have the Name licence from FIFA they should definatly include club sides. Even if it is only 20 english sides that will still amke the game much better. I also think in every game that it is too easy to play and score. LLike in real life i think you shouldnt be able to take your goalkeeper and strole through the opposistions defence and finish with aperfect shot. All football games should be much harder to win, you should be tackled a lot more often and through balls should not always be inch perfect they should usually overrun or be cut out by the defence. Also another idea for EA is to make the Goalkeepers much more realistic and not have them flying to the top corner of the goals ang catching the ball perfectly. It should be made much easier to make mistakes and much harder to score i think.

Yeah man, I agree. The FIFA games do get churned out every 6 months, but you cannot deny they are great! Lets face it, if they made an ISS Evolution game with proper club teams and proper players I think i might just become a recluse and stay home all day.

I think football games on the computer are very repetitive. My brother has FA Premier Leage Stars 2000 and 2001, and although he says that they are totally different, I've watched him play both, and they are exactly the same! Yes the teams have changed round because teams have come in, and dropped out of the premier leage, but the controls are the same, and everything thing else is too (exept the teams). This makes me think that all computer games are the same. Perfect Dark is the same as Goldeneye, but as there are more guns, and a different person to control, it has to be totally different. I saw a few days ago in WHSmiths, and game on the gameboy.............Mrs Pacman. Mrs Pacman??????? That is exeactly the same as Pacman just with a stupid bow on it's head!

I know that this is just an outburst of anger, but my brother has just really pis.....erm...........annoyed me. anyway, I hope that there are some more people that are on here coz it's starting to get really annoying waiting for some more people to talk to....

I agree with you on the FIFA games as I am sick of the rediculous score lines. The problem is how do you make the game realistic without making it rediculously frustrating. I would not like a game where it was almost impossible to score.

What we need is a football game with a few skill levels that clearly make it harder to score, harder to go on runs etc as you progress through the levels.

Computer goal keepers also tend to be much too good in one on one situations. I dont know how you would solve this but in a one on one most of the time the striker will score. I suppose the solution is to create more realistic defenders so that you dont find yourself in so many one on one situations.

Its a fine line between realism and frustration however and the game needs to remain entertaining.
