As i'm sure you are all aware, we are in the midst of a battle. Countless individuals are producing numerous posts trying to entice us to vote for them. Their quests: to become what we call ...*drumroll*... a NOTABLE.

But what is a notable. I have a few theories:

Becoming a notable means you get shares in Special Reserve. The plus side of this is that you may receive dividends if SR is doing particularly well. However, the downside is that if SR isn't doing so well, the company then forces all share holders to sell their houses and give SR the money to help keep the company afloat. Just think, your parents aren't gonna be pleased when they get home and the house has been sold! DOH!

Perhaps becoming a notable means that you have to work in SR's head office. Notables will take it in turns and swap every month. Their tasks include tea-making, filing, photocopying and being forced to play left-over, out-of-date consoles such as the Atari Jaguar, the 3DO, an Amiga and a Microsoft Xbox. (Oooh, did i just actually say that out loud?!) Newly nominated notables must also hand wash the SR staff's underwear and clean the toilets with their toothbrushes!

Perhaps notables will also have some more glamourous jobs. Each notable could have to test and scrutinise every new game which came in before it could be sold. Some notables could even be sent on gaming holidays to Japan to preview all the new technology.

What do you lot think. Is being a notable a lot more than just being able to post in the 'Prime Topics' forum? Is life not complete until you obtain 'notable-ness'?

Thanks for Reading.

Yep, and Notables also get a big red button that allows them to delete posts, block members, and look at you through your computer monitor...

Demoralising? aaww :p I just come here to get advice and learn about stuff really, GADs are just a very nice bonus, I think people are addicted to these forums and don't care too much about GADs, which is nice :)

I see what you mean about the spamming.

However, i've only been around for less than a month and i won a GAD after just over 2 weeks. (about 17 days) Don't get me wrong, i'm not here just to win GAD, i'm here to post my opinions, hear what others have to say and find out info on new consoles, games, etc...

But i respect SR's opinion and surely if i won a GAD so soon it means that what i have to say is fairly decent and that i have opinions as good as anyone else. (even though i'm still a Newbie!)

(After all, i believe you've been around for the best part of 2 years and only won 4.....)
