Is it just me or does Channel 4 seem slightly more dull ever since Big Brother came to it's fantastic conclusion. I miss everyone, this was easily the best TV programme of last year, bar none. It was what the American's call 'water-cooler television' - TV you could talk about at work without fear of being called a goober or something for not going out. Who remembers the look on Nasty Nick's face when the others sussed him out? It was a bit like Joey from friends doing that 'serious' acting face when he tries to multiply 256 by 85.

So here begins the discussions - will any other TV match the brilliance that Big Brother had?

Well they are doing a Celebrity Big Brother for Comic Relief, but its not the same.

All the other shows that have tried to recreate the Big Brother atmosphere, i.e. Survivor, The Mole, Castaway have all been disapointing in comparison. I just hope the new series of Big Brother happens soon, its been far too long since the last series.

I was out of the country for the first few weeks of Big Brother... and so when I returned, I think I must have missed the point... From what I saw, it didnt seem to be all that good?... Any ideas what I was missing?

I don't think channel 4 should make another program in the style of big brother. a celebrity one would be interesting but having anothrt BB would spoil the original.

Yes Yes Yes!!! and more I miss it so much - I used to have conversations via email, phone and mobile text messages with friends and friends of friends every week when it was time to vote all getting the info from each other. It is not just Channel 4 but all channels seem a bit boring now - how can we carry on without seeing Craig and gang in the hot tub! BUT would it have the same appeal if they did another series or could it only work as a one off?

I didn't like it. Every time I saw it nothing happened. You got the narrator saying things like "XXXXX has been up for over an hour now, but has still not had breakfast" and "This is the first time that they've all been in bed before midnight." On the strengh of those bits I saw, I didn't bother with the rest!
