The best part about this game is its humor. Not for one moment does this game take itself seriously. There is always laughs. I love it when you hear guards chatting about problems at home, other terrorist organisations or other general topics. The intelligence items are another great part they always hold iteresting tidbits of info. Such as on the past of characters & little things just for laughs.

I think its a shame NOLF has been handled so crap when converted to the PS2. Its a great game (and one I will be getting for the PC soon) thats not only funny, but has some great levels and challenges to complete.

it was praised when it came out for the pc...and i would recommend you get it for the pc for (if you have a relatively good one):

From the reviews I've read, it's very average. Like Mattyboy says, there are plenty more decent games just around the corner worth buying.
I have also heard this is not very good and it's better to just buy the PC version for a cheaper price.
I did want to get this game but after reading several reviews I dont think I will bother - It seems to be a poor version of the PC game! I will probably get something like FFX or MoH Frontline instead!
I've read its a crap conversion from the PC. Not to worry, I can get the PC NOLF for only £10 now and very much for some of the reasons you have stated.
