Sony announced today their multiplayer strategy to compete agaisnt Seganet and the upcoming Nintendo multiplayer scene.
Said to made with 0.5mm copper technology, the Sonynet system, retailing at around £99, enables DIRECT SPEECH between users of the system!
When questioned that the Sonynet system did appear to look very familiar, and asked did they steal the idea, Sony replied saying that they may have used one or two ideas, but the system is now completly different, being made from copper, and also allowing a much larger distance between players.
When asked how far the system allowed players to be from another, the Sony rep said at least 9 foot.
