I reckon it slightly will.
star wars has alwasy been one of the richest films in history and threes no reason why george lucas would make attck of the clones worse than episode 1!
phantom menace was pretty lame but it still exceeded the billion dollar mark! I think gamecube is selling well at the moment but my personal opinion is that star wasr merchendise for episode two will still be selling at christmas.
heres why i think this:
for the phantom menace, tons of memrobilia and toys were mass produced and shipped out to every shop in the world! you couldnt step in your local news agents without seeing tacky lillte pots of sweets with anikans head on the top or boxs of cerial with minuture star wars figurines inside! there was just so much merchandise!
I reckon that this will be pretty much the same for episode two, with buckets of tacky toys lining the aisles of toys r us, and loads of computer games for all formats covering every aspect of the film.

gamecube will make a hell of alot of money but the box office for star wars will easily out reach gamecubes maximam profits!
I dont know? what do you think?

I somehow doubt that any self-respecting Star Wars fan would miss out on going to see Star Wars: AOTC, even though Episode 1 was lame. Episode 2 is supposed to be a lot better than Episode 1, it's getting rave reviews and it's a new Star WArs :D (same point twice)

Anyhow, a cinema ticket generally costs between £4-£6 and with millions going to see it, It probably will... but seeing as Gamecube is selling a hell of a lot of consoles it must just make the mark

Well, the DC made more money on it's first day in America than Episode 1 did (DC: $100 million).

However, in the long term, who really cares... look at the DC! The most successful console launch in Europe, a sell out in Japan, and the most successful entertainment event ever in America (all at the time), and it still failed!
