resamples it anywhere? i've never had that problem, wouldn't have thought it was possible but then I don't make software so i've got no idea of thebackground...
Also why would it change it into wav from MP3? that would slow it down loads, the only problem i've found with sound is the looping, it left a huge chunk out of my loop, it was quite annoying.
"Don't give Flash MP3s, it doesn't like them much especially when it needs to resample them"
Flash resamples anything it gets hold of on to an MP3, the only problems is it does MP3 -> Wav -> MP3 again.
Whereas Fireworks and dreamwever MX both rule!...a lot! especially Fireworks, I hate the logo but it makes the .jpg and .gif files stand out a lot more, ...damn ugly logo...
cheers for your help though, i'll have a look into Flash MX, can you edit the actual wave? all my sound editing stuff gone up the blink
*is left stranded*

You sure can... **slaps self for forgetting the uses of flash 5**
> Yeah, wavs only. Don't feed it MP3s.
Flash, especially MX was designed to use MP3's you muppet!! that was the whole point! so you were able to stream the two together! nevermind!
you right.. it doesn't support midi, but yes, it does do MP3's and you can change the sample rate of them on export...
Rob... Muppet!!
