Morning Freeola
I have noticed a huge increase in spam yesterday and today coming through from my freeola accounts, now I know I can fwd them to you as attachments but when there are as many as yesterday and this morning will this not just slow down your mail servers?

Why has no one found a way to send via email to these sad folks that send spam an electric current that blows up the offending spam generating PC and blows it up! setting fire to the house thus making them homeless and unable to send any more spam EVER!

Sorry I haven't replied to this thread, been a 'lttle' busy with phone calls lately. However I have a strong suspicion the current spam influx may be due to this. Most notable the Mega-D botnet, which appears to be able to get around various spam filters that most mail services have in place.

Hi Digi,

Freeola's mail servers are processing tens of 1000's of messages a day so I'm sure you can send a sample of your problem to the 'abuse' address without any worries.

Re. Your friend. I hope he was grateful!!! You should ask him to contribute here as he's a Freeola user.

I'm sure when Freeola read this they'll update the Winners List to reflect the claim.

Hi Hmmm
Its about 30 or 40 a day at the moment, and I see no point in fwd them to Freeola as that will in my opinion chugg up the system, and as yet we have never ever received an email from freeola that says they arrive but then that would also chugg up the system dammed if I do and dammed if we dont.

Re friend I just phoned him and he says he has received his Argos vouchers and a nice letter from them, so you can mark that one paid

Hi Digi,
I'm reading!

Is your spam problem as bad as mine the other week?
See thread

The accounts involved were getting 1000's of emails a day and had to be deleted. I'm planning on re-introducing them at some point to see if they are still being targeted.

Or are you just getting a few dozen a day?
I've got lots of accounts and have seen an increase this week but not enough to worry about yet.

NB. This is your very last reminder on your friends unclaimed web GAD!

I must be the only customer that has seen an increase in spam this week - loads and loads and loads of spam - how ever undaunted by a lack of interest in this thread I shall keep posting here in the vain attempt that a staffie might read it.
