After watching Paul Scholes last night losing his head, you have to wonder what he is going to be like in the blistering heat out in Japan and Korea.

Form will always change, ability and know-how won't.

You'll forgive me and my red-tinted specs for thinking that Parlour is currently in better form than any of them.

Parlour wouldn't break into our midfield of Beckham, Scholes, Gerrard and Dyer. The replacements like Hargreaves and Butt are also better than him though.

That's great - but I can't help but think Sven's a muppet for not including Parlour, who has been in outstanding form.
