I think Pc's are to good to have Platform games on. Stick it on something slightly slower like a Gamecube or whatever!

Oh yeah, I forgot about Jazz Jackrabbit. I too only had the shareware version, though I played on it for weeks. I think I'll take back what i said about platform games on the PC, and I hope that Manhatten Project will be a great platform game. I think I'll also look for Jackrabbit next time in town now I remember how good it was.
I think platform games are great on PC, especially the older ones like Jazz Jack Rabbit (which I never had the full version of :( )

The Duke platform game 'looks' good, but there hasn't really been that good a history of PC platform games, which is why I tend not to get excited when one is anounced for the PC.
well, a good game is a good game. the graphics are generally just window dressing. if someone makes a good platformer, then bring it out on PC.
Well we are getting Duke Nukem: Manhatten Project which is a platform game. Probaly going to be a crap one at that.
