Ok. My Dad likes games. SOME games. Not handhelds, and the only other consoles I have are a PC, N64, and I've pre-ordered a GC. SO we're only looking for games on them. He likes:
Zelda: OOT
Zelda: Maj's Mask
The Myst series
And he wants Pikmin, after reading a review of it in *wait for it* The Guardian Newspaper.
So, recommendations, please. I decided to post this here because if I did it in any other relative forum I would have a bunch of newbies telling me to get GTA 3.

I really liked Myst & Riven. I've not played Myst III yet, but I'll be getting it when it comes to XBOX. Why do you not like it?

Ssb. Melee? No way for Beat 'Em ups. No effin' way.
PIKMIN rules... what i've played of it anyway. The fact is, it's quite short... so if your Dad only likes a few games but plays the ones he likes a lot, then he'll probably cane it after a week, tops.
If he plays now and again, the repetitive gameplay, and relatively short length won't be a problem. I'd get it anyway, because it's a good game and the chances are you'll like it.
SR do have a returns policy, so if it doesn't click, send it back! You can always get Turok instead... he might like that!
