How come we don't have a resident evil forum, its bar far one of the greatest gaming series ever made. and is the best survival horror games ever. so we'll start: Which is the best game?

I think if you are a res evil fan then u have to play codeveronica if you ant your no res evil fan, this is a masterpiece. its very very long game and jumpy at many different times the atmosphere rules and the bad guys are amazing, the best bit are when you go in through the big double door outside the lab and then you relise your in the resident evil mansion from the first game. however the only other room to match is the one on the right of the main hall where you push the ladders to get the map out the top of the statue. but the initial shock of realising it was res evil one again was amazing, i have never felt like that from a game again.

by looking at the gamecube's sales figures, I doubt it.

Ah yes, the GC resi title looks amazing, and it'll be on the top of my list when a get my GC later this year. I don't care either if the story of the game hasn't been changed, because in my opinion its not the story which makes the resi games what they are, its the atmosphere. And like you said silk, the remake will be a hundred times more atmospheric than the PSone version.

Neither, i'd have to say that by far the best in the series is Resident Evil Biohazard on the Gamecube, why? because unlike the PS1 original the Gamecube version will finally do justice to the slightly overated series, just imagine it, 100 times more atmosperic than It ever was on the PS1 and 75% bigger, resident evil will now be reborn into even more of a classic than the very limited PS1 version was, and it might, it just might then become truly one of the greatest series of all time...
