I could'nt agree more m8 free form would be the only way the game could live up to the books/films.
but story is also a big part of the lord of the rings experience and that in itself would mean at least some lineararity.
it will be interesting to see what EA or whoever gets the GC liscence for lotr does with it.
still i am praying for something that blows us all away and the potential certainly seems to be there for it to do so

gr8 news as far as multiformat is concerned but why EA why not sega or even rare as they also seem to want to go multi format
i'm with you m8 i also wont be best pleased if they kill it.
but also it does make the prospect of a cube version seem more of a possibility.
