With cubes ability of smooth play and amazing graphics would'nt it be cool to see the lord of the rings being tackled by the mighty nintendo.
Just think what they could do with it.KOOL

I could'nt agree more m8 free form would be the only way the game could live up to the books/films.
but story is also a big part of the lord of the rings experience and that in itself would mean at least some lineararity.
it will be interesting to see what EA or whoever gets the GC liscence for lotr does with it.
still i am praying for something that blows us all away and the potential certainly seems to be there for it to do so

As long as GC LOTR is not a 'point and click interactive adventure' complete with '6 exciting and challenging arcade games that test your mind to the limit!' NO THANKS! A free form RPG would be superb! Rather like Majoras Mask - Got to get the ring to Mount Doom, but you can do it anyway you want, and you can't take to long (But still LOADS of time - as like MM) or the world will end (or turn to evil anyway)

gr8 news as far as multiformat is concerned but why EA why not sega or even rare as they also seem to want to go multi format

I believe Lord of the rings is going multiformat in september, as far as im aware EA have acquired the license. However the games quality could be questionable, if they ruin it i will not be best pleased.
