Thought of a fresh idea for a game. Imagine a beat em up along the lines of the Street Fighter series, Marvel vs. Capcom(2) and all other great 2-D fighting games. Now picture a game between the two best animation shows on television, going head to head.
The Simpsons vs. South Park would be an instant classic. With a choice of hundreds of characters and backdrops taken straight from the T.V series, this game would appeal to literally anyone any age. There would be a huge ammount of over the top moves. Lets say for example a match up between Barney Gumble and Eric Cartman. Cartman unleashes a deadly fart attack, only to be knocked out by Barneys deafening belch. Ned Flanders bible bashing takes down Mr Garrison, whilst Kennys exploding head is too much for Bart to take.
All the humour from the shows would have to be included, from speech to each characters catchphrase, for more authenticity.
There would be a world tour mode in which you have to build your characters strength in order to progress. A no holds barred event in a UFC style cage for gruesome fighting, the usual arcade mode and an online event to determine the best fighter in the world.
If only the producers of these two shows combined to make the ultimate fighting video game, to confirm just who is the best character ever......Homer Simpson or Chef??

I dunno if the Simpsons would win because after all Cartman could crush all of the simpsons (except maybe Homer and Barney), and Grandpa Simpson would prbably have a heart attack! Has anyone got any ideas of the super powers they'd have! For example Cartman could crush people, Barney could burp at people, Marge could hit people with her hair and Homer could eat people. Oh and The Simpsons would be better because Kenny will die a million times every five minutes!
I don't know why but I think that the simpsons will win.
No neither would I for that matter, going by the appalling South Park titles already released by Acclaim. It should go to a company who know how to make decent games and not just money making spin offs.
I wouldn't like to see this kind of game made by acclaim.........
