"GTA3 Why has it been rated 18?"

What is the point of producing GTA3 with an R18? There are lots of under 18's who have been waiting for GTA3 and now we can't play it!

is GTA 3 going on Gamecube?

GTA has been rated 18 for a reason - "Commit as many crimes as you can".

The aim of the game is to wander around, hijack cars, shoot people and break the law, all for no apparrent reason.

All great fun, of course, but hardly something for kids!

We all know that practically everyone has played or watched an 18 before they're 18 (with or without their parents consent), and, 'though you might complain, I don't think you can really say that the game shouldn't be rated this way. There are lots of people in the world who think that sort of game should be banned - take the Australian example.

Havent you seen SR's banner Grand theft auto 3 rated 18 for a reason click that it will tewll you.

This gives that Nintendo Dolphin topic yesterday some tough competition...;D

It's because of the idiots at the BBFC think that they should decide what we can and cannot view, when (IMHO) it should be up to us, and us only (unless we are not of an age, therefore out parents should decide for us). The government can lay down as many laws as they like, but it's quite easy to get a parent to purchase the game for you.

Lucky for me, I'm 21, ner ner :-D

Well it could have somthing to do with the fact that you can drive cars, boats, planes and that you can walk aimlessly round a city. Or maybe it has something to do with the multiple guns that you can use to decapitate people with or the cars that you can blow up or rig with bombs or perhaps its the cars. I'm not sure...

GTA3 has been rated 18 due to it's heavy violence content, use of swear words and other "references".

If you really want to play it, 'borrow your dads'. If ya know what I mean ;-) Eh?!
