Well, I see people have started talking about it, so I guess it must be soon. Most of you probably couldn't give a toss what I think, but I'm going to say it anyway.

Think about who you're voting for. Please don't just vote for someone because they're your mate.

The whole point of the notables is that they are people who make a good contribution to the forums.

So basically, you should vote for someone who's posts you ALWAYS read. Whose name is it that you look for as soon as you come on the forums? Even if the topic is halfway down the page, would you read that before something else? If so, then consider that person a possible notable.

I won't make a list because everyone's different. But do you always read someones posts because you know they'll be funny or entertaining? Then that person is a possible notable FOR YOU.

And that's what it's all about. People who make this forum good for YOU. Not who your mate thinks desevers it, but who YOU do.

Remember: Posters don't suddenly become good because they're notable, they're notable because they're good. In my view there are about another 6 or 7 people on here that are notable, even though their name is still purple.

Thanks for reading.
Ant.

It's just that it was a pretty serious topic all the way through, to get us in a really serious state of mind... and then you say that at the end, and it's a big shock and cracks everyone up. :0D

The last bit was rather amusing I thought, for many reasons.

Yeah, poor man. He tries to tell you something. He's trying to be honest, and all you lot can do is laugh at him? Not the sort of people that I'd like to know. Shame on you all.
