what WILL happen: there will be 3 main consoles all fighting for supremecy and a series of many price cuts will follow and many anouncements detailing the amount of units sold and all will say thier console is selling the best and of course all of these figures will be fake.After a year of the latter one console will fale to make its mark and within another year will go bust leaving two consoles left for war these consoles will fight to the death with each console anounching killer games and "major new add-ons" but eventually one console will be victorious and will be the base format for 80% of all new games untill that anouncement of a new and far superior console and with that anouncment will follow another by a differnt company of another console and then another and the whole chain of avents from before will happen again and again and again.Agree?
And then a super intelligent space monkey will introduce a brand new console that will be ten billion times better than the PS4.
