1. Can I still use a standard modem to connect the Internet after having broadband installed? I use Freeserve as my default connection (and I'll signing up for braodband with them) but have several sites on Freeola and so would need to be able to dial into them using a standard modem.
2. Can I only connect to the ISP I get broadband from or can I connect to another ISP using broadband in the same way that I can with a standard modem?
Thanks in advance.
I am now waiting impatiently for my connection to be setup!
If you sign up for Freeserve ADSL, then Freeserve is your ISP,
If you need to change, you have to stay with them until the minimum contract is up, then have your ADSL uninstalled and reinstalled with another ISP.

I'm assuming it's ASDL ... it's advertised on:-
http://www.freeserve.com/time/broadbandaccess/
And I think it depends on who you get your braodband from, if you get a cable modem you have no option, if you go for a BT option, I don't know if you can get different services from different people through yous current telephone line.
